The original wharf and surrounding buildings date back to the mid-1700s, used for rigging merchant and fishing boats. Shipbuilders would float empty hulls to the wharf to be finished and outfitted for use. In the 1800s, the site became a mercantile center, dealing primarily in coal and cotton.

The service here is what really sets it apart. We have been twice now- once as a family of 4 with small children and once as a large group. The food is wonderful, the view is lovely and the service is just fantastic. And DON'T skip the dessert tray! It's worth it!
This place is an absolute gem in this town. Food was outstanding, drink was well prepared, staff were personable, environment was clean, & the view breathtaking. Oh portions are large. I ordered Caribbean wings, Scallop BLT, Pumpkin ravioli, & Beet salad.
Had baked stuffed lobster today. It was a two Linder and contained an ample supply of delicious lobster meat. So muc that I took the claws home with me. The stuffing was excellent. My waiter was a young man named Ethan.
This place was the perfect ending to a great girls getaway. The view was amazing, inside decor beautiful and the food was delicious! In addition, our waiter Steve, was attentive and on top of everything. We had the Little Necks in White wine and garlic to start...
Went with a good friend. I requested a place that would feel grown-uppy, LOL! So this was our choice. We sat on the outside deck with the sparkling water at our side giving off those positive ions. Beautiful was contagious, we both felt beautiful!
